sorry mdm wong 4 this late article!
ok. so about the parliment session. one word 2 describe it.. borrriiinnnggg... haha. it was not what i expected. i wanted to see heated argument n see how SM Goh defend sg from UN's accusation (i.e. sg is a money laundering country).
i didn't expect the session to be so formal. we need to bow to the speaker of the parliment. it was kinda unusual to see MPs n ministers bowing to the speaker as well. the rules of the house were so strict.. and the 'opening ceremony' was interesting. the sergeant at arms carried the staff in and announced the arrival of the speaker.
the funniest thing that happend was probably when one of the MP's hp rang n was told by the clerk to turn it off. on the whole, it was interesting to be there n see how major decisions r made 4 sg.
