The EPL's season is coming to an end. Watching recent Premier League's highlights reminded me of past and present players.
I present to you the flops of English Premier League's (past and present). These are just my own views of course...
Goalkeeper: Massimo Taibi, Manchester United (1999). The goalkeeper who blamed his poor performances from his gloves to his boots. Got himself into Fergie's black books after Man Utd were thrashed 5-0 at Chelsea in October 1999. I heard about his infamous acts when i was in Pri 6 (I was Arsenal supporter then because Tony Adams was my hero).
Defender: Titus Bramble, Newcastle United (present). The centre back who is so prone to errors. For a moment I thought of Pascal Cygan (Arsenal, though I'm not sure if he is still there), but i came to the conclusion that Bramble deserves it.
Midfielder: I don't know any. Tag me if you do.
Forward: Luque, Newcastle United (present). He is surely, definitely over-rated and over-priced. Maybe he was good in the La Liga but he just couldn't adapt to the Premiership. I thought of Micheal Owen, Newcastle United. I'm sorry mel but even though he has the talent, he isn't worth so much because he is so prone to injury. Thank goodness Liverpool didn't buy him back from Real Madrid!
Manager: Glenn Roeder, Newcastle United (present). What can you say about a man who managed to relegate a team of talents while he was with West Ham. Talents like Joe Cole, Jermaine Defoe and many more which I cannot remember. With Newcastle's current squad, I seriously wonder why they are not in the top six...
OK! MY DREAM TEAM OF THIS SEASON:
Goalkeeper: Jussi Jaaskelainen (GK Bolton Wanderers)
Defenders: Steve Finnan (RB, Liverpool), Jamie Carragher (CB, Liverpool), John Terry (CB Chelsea), Leighton Baines (LB Wigan)
Midfielders: Noberto Solano (RM Newcastle United), Steven Gerrard (CM Liverpool), Gilberto Silva (CM Arsenal), Christano Ronaldo (LM Manchester Utd)
Forwards: Didier Drogba (CF Chelsesa), Wayne Rooney (SS Manchester Utd)
Manager: Alex Fergurson (Manchester Utd)
If you wonder what SS means, it means shadow/support striker.
