Booked out in my uniform today, and went to J8 to buy a bread toaster from Best Denki. Had a small talk with the salesgirl.
salesgirl: "Hi how may I help you?" me: "Can you get me this (points to the toaster.)" sg: "Buying for your mum?" me: "No, buying it to put in my camp." sg: "You got camp meh!? I thought you NCC." --> she tried to look at the unit badge on my right arm.
(Seriously... Wth?)
me: "Haha..." -_-" sg: "Wait ah, I go get for you."
She returned and continued the small talk while testing my toaster. Can't remember all that she said, but the rest of the chat went like this...
sg: "Tiger is which infantry unit?" (my unit badge is a tiger, represents 3rd Division" me: "No la, tiger is the unit, I'm from Armour." (eh Armour got pride one ok? We are the elite. Just like Commandos and Guards.)
