ORD LOH!!!! During the 2 years, especially during the start, it seemed like a long road ahead. Now time seemed to have flown past like an arrow. Some memorable things I remember during my days, good and bad.
BMT TEKONG: -1st time in my life I was botak. -Training under the hot sun. -Talked to the floor everyday. -Field camp with a very blur buddy. -I couldn't even do push-ups and failed my fitness test.
Sispec: -How we dived into the forest when we saw a vehicle coming along the bend on the road. We weren't allowed to be on the road. -Grand Slam overrated.
ATI: -Damn depressed during the first day. Gotten into the most "xiong" unit. It was the beginning of 23 weeks of hell on earth. -Worst ever tek-kan sessions were from there. 90 push-ups even before the first morning lesson started, at about 8am. My arms didn't listen to me afterwards for the rest of the day. -Taiwan was COOL! Literally. I nearly froze to death in the middle of the night during outfield. -They said the "Ninja van" owner's daughter was hot and looked like Hebe. I tried but failed to get a glimpse. (In Taiwan) -Buying food from ninja vans. (In Taiwan) -Silver bayonet!
40 SAR: -Met great friends. -Did shitload of work. -Had the best CSM and OC anyone could ask for. -Misfired. 14 days SOL made me feel like a jailbird. -Got yelled at in public by CSM during NDP rehearsal at Marina Bay for something which he thought was my fault but it actually wasn't mine. -Outfield.
